We, ClearShield Auckland are surface protection specialists focusing on renovation, protection and maintenance for glass and metal surfaces. Our primary focus is on new glass surfaces and protecting them with ClearShield ‘non-stick’ technology. We love this technology as it makes such a difference in the presentation and maintenance of architectural glass.

We help preserve your investment by enhancing glass and steel surfaces durability, including aluminium, stainless steel, powder coated surfaces which we use RiteCoat System, another outstanding Ritec developed product.

Clearshield Ltd. trading as ClearShield Glass is based in Howick East Auckland and is owned and managed by Marius Vorsatz.

We love making a difference in our communities and our focus is on cleaner, healthier environments whether at work or at home. Protecting and restoring glass and steel surfaces to be like new and making it easier to keep clean.
It’s important to us that we live in a healthy environment, it makes everyone feel better.

Story of ClearShield.

 

The story of ClearShield began in 1981, when Stephen and Karen Byers investigated the potential for low-maintenance glass. They subsequently acquired rights to new technology for glass surface protection. Extensive research and improvements to the original formula followed, and the technology was branded 'ClearShield'.

In 1987, Ritec International Ltd (UK) was formed and for over 30 years, the company developed the market for glass surface protection in the flat glass industry, effectively leading the industry and gaining immense field experience with its high quality technology, the ClearShield System.

ClearShield is used across the globe in the most extreme conditions, protecting and enhancing glass of cruise ships, international airports and skyscrapers, and has proven itself against the ravages of time, weather and pollution for nearly 40 years.

Ritec International has an extensive network of distributors throughout the world, including New Zealand and Australia.
